(Debris infinite trio)

Oreste, pursued by Erinyes, runs without stopping through a field burned by the sun.  He wants to distance himself from the horror of the matricide he was obliged to accomplish.

Arianne was abandoned on a beach, her clothes falling around her in a soulless place where the only other living thing was the seaweed.

Theseus left her sleeping on the island. Orpheus dug a path with his body through the rock in his search for Eurydice.  Through the wound of a stone, the song of flesh surprises him and announces his transformation.

He tells the story of his passage through the underworld, water and stone.  Eurydice lives in his soul floats in the eternal river of night. This trilogy exposes the profound and mysterious rapport of man and nature.

One by one bodies immaterialize, melt into the surrounding elements and become perpetual fields of metamorphose.  The actions are essential, minimalist, like a relay in a sporting event.

The images were filmed in the most poignant architectural sites in Sicily, from the Necropolis of Pantalica to the salt fields of Trapani.
