Métamorphoses

Inspired from « L’Opera dei Pupi », marionette theatre in Sicily, Metamorphose is a point of view of the human condition explored through a dance guided by new research.

The play space is open.  All action is in total visibility.  The Dancers metamorphose before the eyes of the spectator living out the emotion of a continual live transformation.

Throughout the show, different modes of man’s life is represented, prey and hunters, solitary and community figures, destroyed by hate, rebuilt by love.

The innocent and grotesque temper the drama.  The romantic momentum is broken by mechanical movement.
